We Believe in the Bible

We believe the Bible is the foundation of our faith.
Its teachings guide our beliefs, our decisions, and our understanding of God’s plan for humanity.

We Uphold the Sabbath

We observe the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week (Saturday), following the fourth commandment:

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

We believe the Sabbath is a time for worship, rest, family, and drawing closer to God.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a worldwide Christian church that believes in the Bible as the inspired Word of God and in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Our Beliefs

Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life, and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
